My Introduction

Julie_Mueller

I am an assistant professor with the Faculty of Education at WLU. I have taught courses in education and psychology, a Professional Learning Seminar; School and Society; Learning and Child Development; Educational Psychology and a seminar in Developmental Psychology (focused on educational implications of cognitive development).
I was an elementary educator in the Waterloo Region for eight years before returning to school to complete graduate work and begin research in the area of computers in education. My research interests include teacher integration of digital technology in the classroom, the impact of digital technology on students as learners, and the connection between aerobic activity and cognitive processes.

I have two wonderful daughters and an equally spectacular husband who complement my life and expand my horizons. I love being outside and appreciate the beauty of our natural earth. I spend a great deal of my time with professional reading in the attempt to answer my many questions about education and life in general.
